Abstract

Children and adolescents, due to the spread of Covid-19, have experienced a radical transformation of social relationships because of the suspension of the face-to-face interaction with peers, the intensification of proximity with families and the shift of sociality on a virtual sphere; these phenomena are related to discomforts and social deviance. The project Observatory on Youth Trends, which consists of research and training activities, have analysed in particular: peer interactions, hyperconnection, cyberbullying and online grooming, individual psychological status and social conditionings (gender roles). The present work illustrates the main results of a survey carried out by the MUSA group of the CNR-IRPPS during Spring 2021 on children of primary schools in Rome, showing also the training, awareness and educational activities formulated on the basis of these results for teachers, parents and students.
